Revannath is a incarnation of "Chamas Narayan", 8th Nararayan of Navnarayan (Navnath). As he was living only on "Milk", he is popularly known as "Halsidhnath". In Kannada, Hal means milk, hence the name "Hal"sidhnath
He travelled right from Vita to Appachiwadi. He made Appachiwadi, Kurli and around area as his "Karmabhoomi" to re-established the precepts of Dharma and social morality.
